Dr Indira Anand - ChairpersonBA Hons (Econ), B.Ed, MA Econ, Ph.D, BA Hons Ayurvedic Studies
Ex-Director Merrill Lynch, Chair- British Association of Ayurvedic Practitioners, Indira has been involved in organised charity work since 2000. She is a qualified Yoga teacher and has been running yoga classes for charity since 1995. She has also trained in Reiki and Pranic healing and has been practising and teaching meditation since 1990. Indira has published several papers for professional journals in the fields of Econ-Hist, Finance and Yoga as well as books in Hindi Poetry, Philosophy and Religion. She is currently practising Ayurvedic Medicine and teaching Yoga.
Mrs Prem Batra - General SecretaryM.A.B.T.
Prem Batra has a double Master’s degree, in Philosophy and in Punjabi Literature & Language. She has worked as an executive in HMRC for 6 years and later as a Secondary school teacher in Greenford. Since her retirement in 2012, she has been teaching/supporting children and young adults with learning difficulties in schools and colleges. Prem is an active member of Arya Samaj London and is totally dedicated to helping people in need.
Dr Chandra Prabha Mathur - Manager Health & EducareM.B.B.S
Dr Chandra Mathur is a retired Consultant Anaesthetist and triple gold-medallist in MBBS in India. Since retirement she has been doing voluntary work visiting Care homes for doing various activities with residents, teaching elderly women how to use mobile phones in Jasper Centre, working as a volunteer in Age UK Harrow where she conducts Knitting Group and Jewellery Group. She is also actively involved in the activities of Arya Samaj, London.
Yogesh Gupta: TreasurerM.A., F.C.A
Yogesh Gupta returned to the UK in 1992 from Zambia after 20 years. He was working in Zambia as the Finance Director of Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines. He is an established Chartered Accountant who runs his own practice in London. Yogesh provides scholarships to needy children in a Secondary school in his home village in India.
Prof Subhash Anand: Manager FundraisingBSc, MSc Tech, PhD, CText, FTI, MBE, Comp. TI
Subhash is a Professor of Technical textiles at The University of Bolton, Lancs, U.K. He has published over 200 research papers and holds six patents in Technical Textiles. He has secured over £2.5 millions in grants and research sponsorship and has been often commended for obtaining the bulk of Institute's expanding Research funding from both governmental and corporate sources.
He also raises funds for various charities through his musical programmes and teaches music for charitable causes. He gives musical concerts in India, Bangladesh and the U.K. and to date has produced five audio tapes and CDs.
Vijay Arora: Manager Public RelationsBA Hons (Econ)
Vijay is currently serving as district PR/Marketing and Environment officer for District 105A, Lions Clubs International. In 2008 she was the District Governor (105A), having held many senior positions both at the local and the District level for the past 14 years. She is also a regular volunteer for various charities within her local community and was the chairperson of Merchant Taylors Parents Association for many years. Prior to taking up full-time voluntary work, she was a partner in an accountancy practice and a consultant in a business transfer agency for over 25 years.

Proficient in Vaastu Alankar, Vaastu Visharad, Jyotish & Prashna Kundali Shastra Bhawna Bagga is the Project Manager, India of SmS UK and the Exec Director of SmS India Foundation. She strongly believes in helping people and has been involved in handling different charity programmes in India. Being SmS's Indian representative she closely monitors the progress of its projects in India.

Indira retired two years ago after managing two MRI Centres for 18 years. Apart from clinical delivery indira also marketed and developed the business side of both the centres. During her career break to bring up her sons, she gained a diploma in Psychology from the University of London. Indira took an active part in fund raising during her time on the Parents Association thereafter supporting charitable events wherever possible. Also during her working life she simultaneously set up and ran a printing company which finally got relegated to the back burner through pressure of work with the MRI Centres. She now keeps her hand in the clinical side of things with some locum work.
